Shipping & Delivery Guide

This guide explains our shipping options, estimated transit times, tracking process and what to expect from the time your order is placed until it arrives.

Shipping at a Glance

Important: Production time and carrier transit time are separate. Please allow enough time for artwork proofing, production and shipping when selecting a delivery method. Weekends and holidays are not included in production or transit estimates.

Selecting an expedited shipping service reduces the carrier transit time after your package ships. It does not eliminate the production or artwork-proof time associated with your order.

Flat Rate Shipping

  • It is not recommended for orders with firm or time-sensitive deadlines.

Free Standard Shipping

Available on Qualifying Orders of $150 or More

  • Estimated transit time is approximately 2–8 business days.
  • This is one of our slowest shipping services.
  • It is not recommended for rush orders or firm delivery deadlines.

UPS Ground

Approximately 1–5 Business Days

  • Transit time depends on the delivery location and its distance from Connecticut.
  • Refer to the transit map above for a general estimate.
  • Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.

Please remember: The delivery estimates above describe carrier transit time after the package has shipped. Production and artwork-proof time must be added separately.

Choosing the Correct Shipping Speed

Customers are responsible for selecting a shipping method that meets their delivery needs. Once a package has been picked up by the carrier, the shipping method cannot be changed.

Same Day Awards may attempt to contact customers when the selected shipping speed appears unlikely to meet the requested deadline. However, the customer remains responsible for selecting and paying for the appropriate shipping service and any necessary shipping upgrade.

Deadline reminder: Flat Rate Shipping and Free Standard Shipping are not recommended for hard deadlines. When timing is critical, select a trackable UPS service with sufficient allowance for both production and transit.

Carrier Delays

Transit times may be affected by severe weather, holidays, mechanical issues, transportation disruptions or other circumstances outside the control of Same Day Awards. Same Day Awards is not responsible for carrier transit delays.

Tracking and Delivery Attempts

  • Tracking information is provided when your order ships.
  • Same Day Awards does not continuously monitor the tracking status of shipped orders.
  • Please use the tracking number in your shipping confirmation to monitor your package.
  • If UPS or USPS attempts delivery and cannot complete it, contact the carrier directly to arrange redelivery or request that the package be held for pickup.
  • Same Day Awards cannot arrange redelivery or a carrier pickup hold on the customer’s behalf.
  • If you have a concern about the shipping status of your order, contact the artist working with you on the order.

Damage or Breakage in Transit

Inspect your shipment immediately. Damaged or broken items must be reported to Same Day Awards within 7 days of delivery to qualify for replacement under this policy.
  • Replacement items are shipped using the same shipping service originally selected for the order.
  • For example, a replacement for an order originally shipped by UPS Ground will also be shipped by UPS Ground.
  • Damage reported after the 48-hour reporting period is not eligible for this replacement guarantee.
  • When damage is reported after the deadline, the full replacement and shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  • If a qualifying replacement must arrive faster than the original shipping service allows, Same Day Awards will cover 50% of the shipping-upgrade charge and the customer will be responsible for the remaining 50%.

Incorrect Products and Same Day Awards Errors

If Same Day Awards sends the wrong product or our artist makes a typographical error that was not approved on an artwork proof, the affected item will be replaced using the same shipping service originally purchased.

This replacement policy does not apply to spelling, wording, dates, names or other details that appeared on an artwork proof approved by the customer.
